Welcome to Talk Business - Christchurch Business Networking

We’re a Christchurch-based business networking group — but not the usual kind. Here, connection comes before leads, and learning comes through discussion.

Every session is practical, welcoming, and open to anyone curious about business — whether you own one, work in one, are studying, starting out, or were sent by your manager to get inspired. We meet weekly to introduce ourselves, explore a real business topic, and share ideas in small groups.

Who comes to Talk Business?

We are open to everyone from the person who has an idea and hasn’t acted to the e multiple business owner and everyone in-between.

There’s no hierarchy here. Everyone has experience in business. Whether you have run businesses or been an employee or customer, you have more knowledge than you know. Some come to share stories, some come to hear wisdom and insights, others for support or leads.

What does Talk Business - Christchurch Business Networking cost?

Unlike most networking groups, Talk Business is basically free. A small donation helps cover costs, but our priority is building a community of interesting people. One day we might grow into a for-profit business. For now, we’re enjoying building something from scratch, seeing what works, learning how to do it and having fun along the way.
